Greetings Vampye enthusiasts, inquisitors, hunters, etc.
This website is finally being revamped, as it were. Gone is the list
of interesting links that used to be here. Vampyre websites have changed
so much in the last five years and it's so hard to keep track of them
all. So, rather than try and keep on top of things and just be another
bothersome website that's really a 'list of lists', I've decided to
try another vein.
Being the vampyre afficionada that I am, I decided to start keeping
a journal of movie reviews. Vampyre movie reviews of course. Perhaps
it will help some of you decide whether it's better to spend that $5
at blockbuster or go buy an order of mozzerella sticks at the pizza
place next door. Heck, perhaps you'll read my reviews and recommend
a movie or two that I haven't gotten a chance to see yet (what can I
say, my blockbuster's horror selection is pretty lacking...and the west
coast down the street ain't much better).
I've also included the myriad of books, both fiction and non-fiction
that I've collected over the years. Non-fiction is tedious so I haven't
necessarily read them all. Others however I've zipped though as quickly
as inhaling one of Laurell K. Hamilton's early Anita Blake novels (more than a little disappointed by her last few endeavors!). No reviews
here, but if you want to know about a particular title just ask. I've
read more than is here, but because of space constraints on my bookshelves
and wanting to keep those books that were worth my time and $7.99, I've
gotten rid of a fair number of fiction novels. Let's just say the good
ones are few and far between but you can throw a rock and hit several
dozen terrible vampyre novels.
Hope you enjoy the website. Your questions, comments, etc. are always
appreciated: webgoddess@hecatescrypt.com.
